The Basics

Although it’s possible to arrive independently, many visitors opt for a round-trip tour from Dublin with transportation and entrance fees included. Guided Causeway excursions, with upgrades for private tours or luxury coaches, often include stops at other nearby attractions such as the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, the Bushmills Distillery, and Dunluce Castle.

Notable formations at the Giant’s Causeway include the Chimney Stacks, Giant's Harp, and Honeycomb, all of which are favorites of visiting photographers. Spot these formations and other stunning views framed by the windswept cliffs on your walk over the columns to the edge of the sea.

Patrick was an excellent...
Patrick was an excellent driver and tour guide. He was on time, knowledgeable, and funny. He also tells stories quite well, especially about Game of Thrones and Finn McCool. His jokes and puns are hilarious. Well done!

Giant's Causeway Premium Day Tour from Belfast (Includes Admissions)
I would highly recommend this trip, we had Amanda who was hilarious and very informative. From explaining how places in NI got there names and what they mean. Lots of photo opportunities. The only downside was the rope bridge is closed due to covid just means I have to come back again. Giant’s Causeway is exceptional breathtaking. My advice wear comfortable shoes and it’s not for the faint hearted.

Giant's Causeway Tour from Belfast - Luxury Coach + All Admissions Included
This tour was excellent. We stopped off at various places like the Dark Hedges from Game of Thrones and others. The coastal drive was beautiful and the seaside towns along the way. We stopped at the Giants Causeway and had a guided tour on a beautiful summers day. The coach was air conditioned and spotlessly clean. Great driver and guide too.

Giant's Causeway, Belfast Titanic Experience And Dark Hedges Tour from Dublin
The Giant's Causeway and the Dark Hedges were beautiful. I haven't done the Titanic Experience now because I already did it 2 years ago. Belfast is a beautiful city to spend a few hours. When it rains, it's best to find a nice pub, such as the Crown Liquor Saloon. It was a long day but it was well worth it. We had Anthony as tour leader and Tomas as driver. Both are excellent. It was a long day but well worth it.

Derek the driver & guide was so good. His input was the highlight for me. A shame that due to Covid the rope bridge is still closed.

Irish Folklore

These rock formations get their name from an old legend about Irish warrior Finn McCool and his Scottish rival, Benandonner. Per the tale, McCool built a path across the sea to face his rival, eventually defeating Benandonner by dressing as a baby; Benandonner feared McCool was the child of a giant and didn’t dare to face him. On his way back to Scotland, Benandonner tears up the path behind him, leaving behind only the Giant's Causeway and similar rock formations on the Scottish island of Staffa.
