Great experience

Our tour guide was Kieran. He’s from Ireland and has been living in Barcelona for four months then. When we started the tour I was fairly doubtful about the guide as he was neither from the city nor experienced. But to my pleasant surprise he was very good. He was very interactive and pretty good insight into the history of places. Barcelona is one of the best places to cycle. The city has laid dedicated lanes for cycling. It is a beautiful experience to cycle in Barcelona. Felt a deep connection with the city as you pedal through the narrow streets and arriving at the destinations.

Shame this tour copies all the others! Would be better if they did something different. Too long to wait for stopping for lunch- passed empty restaurants on way to a busy one.

The bike tour was a great way to see the city quickly. I had a great time. I thought the groups were too big for one guide. You will need to be decent at biking and comfortable on the road with pedestrians.

Appreciating Barcelona with ALvarro on a biking tour
mitos_c
, May 2022
We had the best city private biking tour. Our coach was so knowledgeable, fun, shared so many information about the cathedral Sagrada de familia. How the verse in the Bible was depicted in the architecture of Gaudi, the economic growth of Barcelona and it’s history. If you want to appreciate Barcelona, you need to have a fun person like ALvarro take you around and share his knowledge. Thank you for such an awesome job!

A cool ride
Jonathan_H

We took this tour on May 1, 2022. Our guide was Keran and he was excellent! We were able to see a huge chunk of the city. Parks, cathedrals, lunch on the beach, and several neighborhoods. Our tour had individuals of all ages (preteen to 60s) and everyone did well. I think it would be a bit much for riders under the age of 10 unless they are use to riding in a city environment. The bike trails get congested at times and several places require you ride near moving vehicles and near large groups of walkers, so this tour is best for confident riders. There are not many hills and when there are, they are not steep at all. With the exception of the people that you have to dodge at times (walkers are all over the bike trail in the more congested areas), this ride is actually pretty laid back. We made many stops and had time to walk around, take pictures, and explore. While the tour is 4 hrs, we were never on the bike more that 15mins without a stop. Not strenuous at all. Id recommend this to the person who wants to take in a significant portion of the city without spending 5 hours on the dreaded hop on hop off bus

The best way to explore and learn about the main sites of Barcelona

We did this on our last day, they kindly stored our luggage at the bike store whilst we went on tour. We'd seen a lot of the places we stopped at during our trip already but the tour guide was excellent and we still learned lots of new excellent things. Highly recommend doing this.
