Overview
Go cave tubing in a remote national park on a guided half-day outing. Travel by mini-bus into the rain forest outside of Belize City and learn about the area’s tropical flora and fauna on a brief walk to the cave system. Once there, get outfitted with a life jacket, helmet, and light, hop in a tube and float downstream, passing unique rock formations and a waterfall as you go.

We had a great time on this cave tubing excursion. We came into Belize on a cruise ship. The van was easy to find. The tour guides--Jeremy, Marco, Abner & Abner--were great. They were nice, polite and very informative about the country. Take cash to purchase the food available after the cave tubing, it was very good. There is about a one mile walk to the cave, with 3 river crossings. There are no lockers but personal belongings are locked in the van and safe. We would definitely recommend this tour group, and this excursion.

We loved our guides. Marco Polo was fantastic. We learned so much. He was very appropriate and interactive with the kids. We watched the other companies get off the river after the cave early and we enjoyed the continuation of the river float. The food offered for lunch was amazing and only $10.

Jeremy was the best tour guide ever. He shared a great wealth of knowledge and expertise on this cave tour. Abner made us feel like we were on a private tour because it was only us 2 out of 7 than decided to do tubing vs kayaking. He also throughly explained the Mayan history that was very relaxing and exciting. We never felt rushed. We will definitely share this tour with friends and suggest they do a tour with Jeremy and Abner. I give this tour 10 🌟 🌟

The tubing was relaxing and the cave was wonderful. Marco went above and beyond to keep us off the rocks and on the right path. He also was very knowledgeable about plants and creatures we saw on the hike through the jungle. Marco is very friendly and made the excursion enjoyable, a true professional. Very physical and tiring trek to get to the launch point but worth it when it was all said and done, although they need to offer head/neck rests on the tubes to make it more comfortable.

The cave tubing excursion was relaxing and provided for some interesting and beautiful scenery. There was a 45 minute drive to the site and a 25 minute walk to the river. Jeremy, the guide was excellent in sharing information about the area and at making sure we had a good experience. Enjoyed the excursion, but was a little more docile then expected.
On a side note: you might want to be careful about chewing on the allspice leaf for very long, unless you need a good cleaning out for a couple of days.🥺

We were completely blown away by this great adventure. The cave was magnificent and the river was beautiful. Our guides, Nelson and Abner were exceptional. They provided excellent information enroute to the cave and river as well as throughout the experience itself. Both were very knowledgeable, safety conscious, and polite. They ran a great tour!!

All the scenery getting to the caves and the amount of informative facts by our guide Abner was impressive. Then the actual cave tubing portion was amazing and once again our guide Jeremy was so knowledgeable of things about the caves and it’s history that it made for an extraordinary experience.

AMAZING! We had the BEST TOUR GUIDE Devon Dwayne Roca aka “The Rock” He was incredibly knowledges and loved his country and what he did for a living. We saw many other tour companies passing us by and not sharing a 1/10 of the info we heard from The Rock. We learned about Mayan culture, the rain forests, the caves ....it was the best excursion I have ever had!

We just got back from our cruise where we stopped in Belize and participated in the Cave tubing for cruise ship guests. Can’t recommend this excursion enough. The drive out to the caves is about an hour long. On the way, our guide The Rock gave us so much information about Belize and answered any questions we had about the country. We got to the parking point, rented crocs for $3/pp (bring something you can walk across three rivers in and about a mile if you have them) and made our way by foot. We saw many other parties carrying their own tubes, so we were glad VIV had ours at the caves. Note: if you cannot cross three rivers that are about knee height and walk a mile in unlevel terrain, don’t pick this excursion. We got in the tubes that were all hooked together. They have mesh bottoms, so we were not too worried with our small kids. Helmets and life jackets were provided. The water felt great after the warm hike. The caves are beautiful and relaxing. We chose to purchase the $10 meal offered before the hike that was served on the bus on the way back. Delicious and totally worth it. Thanks for a great time!

What a wonderful time! Well worth the 40 minute walk into the rainforest. The guides were wonderful, informative, fun and funny. Our group of 6 adults and seniors would highly recommend this excursion. If you're claustrophobic, no worries at all!!!! I wore thin water shoes, I'd recommend something with a more hearty sole. Next time I'd insist on bringing a bottle of water. I realize they don't want trash in the beautiful area, but we needed water. Once we got into the water we cooled off right away. But later in the evening we were somewhat dehydrated.
