This was hands down the best ghost tour I have ever done! Being able to use the real ghost hunting equipment elevates the experience to a whole other level. Nick is the real deal. He keeps the whole group engaged in the experience. In addition to the actual ghost tour Nick provides you with hours of video and audio recordings from your experience the following day along with analysis that may reveal additional creepy details that were missed during the tour. I experienced multiple chill inducing moments during the tour. Do not miss this tour if you are in Charleston!

Getting some history while also getting to use some of the equipment was so much cooler then just going on a walking ghost tour with 20+ people. It was limited to just 10 of us and we were able to hear everything and ask all the questions we wanted. Our group is usually pretty chatty and nick was so patient with all of us and would interact with us one on one. If this is something you're interested in whether you're a skeptic or not I highly recommend you take this tour, such a great experience. Only thing I wish is that there were other tour locations he did, because we would definitely do this again!

Unique experience - a must do in Charleston!

Our tour with Nicholas was incredibly fascinating. We learned how to use specialized equipment commonly used in the ghost hunting field. He is a great story teller and is great at relaying historical events that took place in the area. We had a small group and managed to record many hours of data with his gadgets for us to investigate. I am looking forward to sitting down and reviewing all the data that we recorded during our experience! I would definitely recommend this as a must in Charleston!

Not your typical ghost tour!

I booked this ghost hunt for a mother/daughter weekend! My daughter LOVES ghosts shows and stories. I was looking for something different from the common walking ghost tours. After reading through the reviews and the fact that you get to use actual equipment, Stories In The Cemetery was the one to go with. Nick is very well versed in historical information! One person in our group actually brought her own equipment and Nick was excited with sharing quick suggestions and differences compared to his equipment. He is also up front with what to expect. Some nights are more active than others! Our tour was not a very active night but we did catch a couple orbs and many terms/phrases were caught on the spirit box corresponding to locations that we were exploring. I would definitely suggest booking a ghost hunt with Nick and plan on booking with him again the next time we are in town!
