Such a fun experience! We traveled from Nebraska and Stayed in Dublin so it was nice to get out of the city and see the countryside. Our driver and guide Richard O’Brien was 10 out of 10. Very funny and entertaining but also learned a lot about Ireland history. Also enjoyed his bus ride playlist. Highly recommend this tour!

Glendalough is stunning and I could have spent hours there! Unfortunately we spent 5 and half hours of our 9 hour tour on a bus!! We got an hour and half at Glendalough and Kilkenny is really not worth a 2 hour trip - a lovely city but nothing amazing! Really disappointed as was not informed that most of the time will be spent on a coach!

It was a waste of time and money. In overall it is really poorly organised. This is a clear example of a tourist trap. The car arrived 30min late in the morning, there was no tour guide, only a kind driver who had very little experience of this itinerary and was not able to provide us with any insights. The two visits Glendalough and Kilkenny are far too short (no time to do main trekking to get to the upper lake) and arriving to Killkeny there is not even enough time to do the visit of the castle) Thus better to take public transport than spend so much money for ultimately not much

Kilkenny town is worth to explore

The highlight of this tour that I like is Kilkenny Castle and Kilkenny town. This Little town is fun to explore where there are a lot of cafes souvenir stores and restaurants. There is a church at the end of the road but it closes at 4 pm. Glendalough is not my favorite. It was freezing cold there. One thing I would like to mention is that I left my glasses in the bus and I had to catch the flight back home the next morning. I frantically called the tour and they said they would contact the driver but chances were very slim. The next morning, I called before I left, they told me to meet in front of the tour office . I went there and I got my glasses. I really appreciate their effort to find and give me back my glasses. Thank you.

Wonderful sites. Wicklow Gap, Glendalough, Kilkenny The guide (Josh) and the driver were knowledgeable, funny and we learnt a lot about Ireland and its past. The pace of the tour was ok, allowing enough time to enjoy all the places seen. I strongly reccommend it. The stop at Glendalough is a little too long I think. Something else could be inserted in the schedule of the trip.

My friends and I decided to do this trip as we are all interested in nature. We were not disappointed with the scenic drive through the Wicklow Mountains, the Sugar Loaf Mountains and the Wicklow Gap. The waterfalls were beautiful and our driver/guide was very insightful and very funny. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone who is short of time and want to make the most of it.

We originally rented a car to get around, but returned it just a few days before we left Ireland. We didn't want to be secluded to just Dublin so we chose this bus tour. Although we had already been to these places with the rental, there was so much more to see and explore! You have plenty of time to hike and venture out. I LOVE that it was self guided and you could choose what you wanted to see and do when at the destinations. Kilkenny was beautiful and the town itself is quaint with many pubs, restaurants, and shops. We didn't experience this on the tour but the pub, The Field, has great live music at night. I would highly recommend if you want a fun upbeat night in Kilkenny! Glendalough and Wicklow was just stunning! The ponds and lakes are so picturesque with the mountains as a back drop, it looks like a painting. You can't go wrong with this tour!

This tour was a great value for what you got. The tour guide/driver was knowledgeable and funny and could really maneuver that bus around those thin winding roads. Side note to that...if you tend to get carsick you are best off sitting at the front of the bus, these roads are bumpy and winding! Glendalough was gorgeous and the muffins in the little hotel restaurant there were fabulous. Kilkenny was very enjoyable. We chose to use our time there touring Kilkenny Castle. We had enough time to go in a few shops and stop for lunch. I would have enjoyed more time in this medieval town. Overall I highly recommend this tour. I also recommend starting the tour in the morning at the first meeting spot as the bus tends to fill up and it may be difficult to sit by family or friends if you join at the second or third location.

Our guide Bailey was great! Funny and knowledgeable. Lovely drive up through Wicklow Mountains. Stopped at Glendalough. Walked to lower and upper lakes for photos and viewed Round Towers and monastic site. If you want to reach the upper lake, be warned it is about a 3.4km round trip walk so keep up a steady pace and take your pics of the monastic site on the way back. Alternatively, just walk to lower lake the first lake then back to monastic site. Won't be missing out on much. Kilkenny was great. Enough time for a walk around, quick lunch and tour of Kilkenny castle and grounds.
