Stewart was very knowledgeable about the history of Edinburgh, he told us so many interesting stories. We also went to many out of the way places that we would have never found on our own. Well worth our time.

This was our first visit to Scotland. We arrived in Edinburgh on Tuesday night and went on our tour with Stuart Usher on Wednesday morning. It was a great way to get our bearings on the city and to discover where we wanted to come back and spend more time. Stuart had a lot of inside stories and historical background that made walking through Edinburgh fascinating. He created a richness and depth to things we might have otherwise looked at and said, "That is cool." Stuart was delightful and humorous. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour.

We really enjoyed our tour with Stewart.. he has a good sense of humor and truly know his history of Edinburgh and Scotland. He went at our pace and encouraged questions. Stewart showed us the nooks and crannies of the city that we never would have experienced in our limited time, we thought the price was worth every penny. Thank you Stewart!

Allison was an knowledgeable, fun, and friendly guide. We were a small group and had lots of questions, which she was amazing at answering. There was a lot of historical information as well as info about the geological development of the city. I might take this tour again next time I’m here because there was so much to absorb! So much fun and I feel like I know the city so much better.

Walking through history
Janet
, Apr 2022
Allison was a fabulous guide and wonderful historian. She guided our group through Edinburgh with ease and made sure everyone could clearly hear her explanation of significant historical events. She really made our tour enjoyable and was always making sure everyone was able to keep up as there were some pretty challenging hills, aferall it is Edinburgh! Thanks Allison for a lovely day!

Dear Janet Thank you so much for your fulsome Review of your Tour with Alison. Your term 'Challenging Hills' is so true of the Old Town of Edinburgh. One might use the same term for its weather likewise ...... it can often be hellishly cold, wet and windy in the Spring. Some of our Clients who come from the tropics feel it most terribly. We are delighted that you enjoyed your Tour ith us so much and would love to see you again some sweet day! Best wishes Stuart U
