This activity will end right where it started.Once you arrive to Kayak Village in the area of Las Croabas, Fajardo. Meet your host at Kiosk #11, second one on your right side after entering the gate. Parking is available free of charge, on the roundabout towards the left side of the entrance.

- Maximum Weight Limit: 250 lbs PER ONE GUEST | up to 425 lbs COMBINED PER KAYAK
- Minimum age is 6 years old | Participants Age 6-13 must be accompanied by an adult on the same kayak. Participants 14-17 must have an adult participating on the tour.
- Wear Comfortable clothes that can get wet (bathing suit shorts), shoes that can get wet (flip flops / water shoes), bring a towel and change of clothes (for after the excursion).
- Odd number parties will be assigned on double kayaks during the tour.
- Bring your cell phone during your travel (in the event that we need to contact you, or you need to contact us prior to the excursion)
- This excursion requires a minimum of at least 6 total participants in order to provide the tour. In the event this minimum is not met, we will call 1-2 days prior to the excursion to go over alternative options (i.e. reschedule for a different date or time that has the minimum requirement, payment options for a private excursion, or cancel without penalty)
- For safety reasons we requiere all guests are able to communicate in English or Spanish.
- Not recommended for travelers with back, neck, wrist, arm, leg problems, recent surgeries / injuries and/or cast.

Being in the actual laguna was spectacular! Inalis, Francisco, Masiel and unfortunately I can’t remember the name of our last guide we’re all knowledgeable, extremely helpful, friendly and well versed in their craft as guides. The whole experience was amazing and unique, I would do it again! I can’t wait to see the pictures Francisco took!

All the guides were excellent. Miquel, David, Jordan and Misael were super friendly. Special shout to Misael and David who helped us through the man grooves there and back! We highly recommend going with them! Because of the weather there wasn’t a lot of glow in the water but we did get to see some

We had a great time! Tour lasted 2 hours, started off with brief safety and instructions, took our doubles kayak through a very dark canal, which was magical on it's own, ended up in the bay, where we were able to witness the bioluminescence and a short display of some of the visible constellations. Our particular night was a low-concentration night (only about 20% visibility of the bioluminescence), due to the fact that it rained all day prior, but the tour company called us earlier in the day to inform us of this and offer some $ back on our reservation if we still wanted to go through the with tour. Even with lowered visibility, they created the perfect way to allow each person to witness the bioluminescence in the bay and it ended up being so cool! I've seen the bioluminescence at a much more powerful concentration in the past and can confidently say that last night's 20% was still enough and just as cool for my husband who's never seen it! Our guides, all 4 of them, were wonderful! Water was beautiful. You will get wet, waist down, and you do have to walk in the water briefly, if that helps when deciding what to wear. They also take pictures throughout the tour and send to you for free the next day! Heads up, even though the kayaks are doubles, you do a lot of continuous paddling that could be considered strenuous for people who haven't kayaked before. Happy to report no sore muscles here the next day! We had a blast and would recommend.

David and Miguel were our guides and they were AMAZING! Our tour began as the sun was starting to set, so we were able to really see the mangroves. We were lucky enough to see a few iguanas, tarpon, a mongoose, and various bird species! Even though we went on a night where the bioluminescence wasn’t as bright (too much rain) they had tarps in the back of the kayak for us to put over ourselves and the water to remove any light pollution and we were able to see it! It was like little blue sparkles, so cool. I have also never seen stars that bright - they even pointed out major constellations to us. I can’t recommend this enough, thanks for the memories!

We went kayaking with David, Miguel, and Jordan. They were great and very informative. I would like to personally mention and thank Jordan who helped us when we couldn't figure out how to steer our Kayak! It's a unique experience! The stars were amazing as well

Awesome instructors. Awesome guides. All very kind, helpful, supportive, knowledgeable. We weren’t particularly nervous, but they did a great job preparing everyone and keeping everyone safe and then helped understand the amazing things we were seeing.
They just don’t really give advance directions about valuables and attire. For clothes: be prepared to get wet. You’re fine not being in a swimsuit as long as you don’t mind the splashes from the oars but you’ll get a bit wet. Valuables: you can leave them with the host and the company car to be secured during the trip as they warn that if anything fallas from your kayak it will be lost in the darkness and dark water; we left everything in our parked and locked car and just left our car key in their storage box.

The tour guides were great and very helpful. It's a nice trip. You start out getting into the boats, starting to kayak out in a single file line in the bay and then start going through the mangrove trees. The water was pretty shallow. Once you get through the mangrove trees, you get out to the bay/lagoon where if you move your hand/paddle back and forth in the water, you can see the bioluminescent plankton. The darker the better. The guides also point out different constellations which was nice. On the way back through the mangroves, you could see more of the plankton because it was a little darker. If you're a solo traveler, they'll pair you up with someone else. Be ready to paddle for about 2 hours. Your butt and feet will get pretty wet. It's a fun time!

Directions were inaccurate, we called the tour operator 3 times with no response, weren’t able to even go because we couldn’t find the location and missed the time. Wasted $400 for absolutely nothing because we obviously weren’t going to be refunded and it costs $70 one way from San Juan to this location. Very disappointed because that is why we came to Puerto Rico.
