This activity will end right where it started.You will begin your day by checking in at our admissions window, and most people wish to do their African Bush safari first. Then you are welcome to walk to the top of the park, or take a ride on the shuttle to get to the shows at the top of the park.

A wonderful ecological animal park

The Serengeti bus ride was absolutely brilliant. The driver/guide had just the right personality to be working in this setting. The whole park was amazing. We walked around a couple of times and each time different animals were either visible or gone somewhere to hide.
If I had anything to say in the vane of mediocrity, it would be about the one and only food van on site. Although they pumped the food out quickly, the food was so so. Another van would have helped. They were extremely busy.
BUT that did not take away from the great experience we had over the day.

The park seems to be showing issues due to probable low attendance/lack of funding because of covid. Equipment, signs and facilities are run down and in need of replacement. One of the lunch vendors was closed and the one that was open had very limited meal choices due to equipment issues. And, a day visit in summer is quite hot. Also, as we've found with most animals, they tend to come out early in the morning or near sunset so many are sleeping during the park open hours. It did help when park employees started feeding them, as more came out and were visible.

There was a lot of waiting involved in this experience. Despite having purchased tickets online, we still had to wait in line for wristbands when we arrived. Then, we had to wait in line for shuttles which take you to the actual park - the entry is quite far from the area that is walkable and houses most of the animals. This is alright, however, we just weren't expecting it. We have a 21-month-old child, which means that our kiddo really only has about a two hour window for being outside and walking around - we used most of that up waiting in line. We didn't even get to see 99% of the place. Our child loves to go to the Phoenix Zoo, which is walkable immediately. I'd certainly recommend this experience for people with older children.

It was a great experience. It was wild and unkempt like their natural habitat. You got up close with the animals. The only negative was paying a further 9.20tax after paying for it on line. Also it was my husband's birthday and he should of got a free entry and calling aviator they said that it did not exist. When I approached reception at out of Africa they said he should of got a free admission but nothing was done about it.
