Absolutely brilliant!

This tour was perfect from start to finish. The communication on pick up time and instructions for pick up location at our hotel were timely and clear…great driver service to and from the airport. Once checked in and through the safety briefings etc and on the helicopter our pilot ‘G’ was GREAT! He was funny, personable, knowledgeable and put everyone at ease. Once at the canyon, we had about 2.5 hours to do the the skywalk experience and explore the views from Eagle and Guano points. The hop on hop off shuttle bus service between the Canyon helicopter drop off point and Eagle Point / Gauno Point was brilliant. I recommend doing this tour early and getting out to the Canyon and doing the Skywalk before the crowds of coach tours show up. It was all round an absolutely brilliant experience and I would highly recommend. I have previously done another canyon heli tour where we landed in the canyon for a short picnic…I thought at the time that this was good….but this tour is WAY better and really allowed us to experience on the ground views of the canyon that give you a much better sense of how immense and spectacular the Grand Canyon is. Well worth the money! Thank you ‘G’ and Papillon for a great experience!

From hotel pick up to return our excursion went without a hitch and exactly as described. All the staff and pilot were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The helicopter trip itself was amazing and worth the cost.

I got one confirmation message from Viator but then you turkeys never replied to my messages asking WHEN we were to be picked up! I assumed that if there were no return messages, then 10 AM must be the time. We were therefore caught by surprise. No time for breakfast, shower, makeup etc... Trip was off to a bad start with hungry people. I would recommend this tour by Papillon but with the warning to NOT EVER book through Viator.... Too sloppy for such a big price tag.

Great experience. Pickup was on time. All staff on ground were nice and helpful. In fact when we got back our ride back was not available and we had to wait at least a .5 hour before they showed up. To make up for the time lost the staff gave us a free picture that we normally would have had to pay for. The pilot was great. He was able to answer any question I had. Every informative on his own. Flight had no issues. The personnel at the Skywalk were also very nice. Each photographer took an individual or group if traveling together and took the time to take lots of pictures, posing us in fun ways. When the session was over we were able to choose the picture we wanted. With this tour I got a free 8x10. With the person at the counter helping we were able to narrow it down. But I couldn't quite get it down to only 1. I ended up purchasing the whole set. They give you a thumbdrive with all the pictures. Surprise...when I got home and was looking through it I found a bunch of extra pictures that had been taken by professionals. I never would have gotten those if I had not purchased the thumbdrive. So glad I did. The trip back was uneventful, which you want when you are flying. Pilot provided more narrative on the grounds below and the scenery. I travel alone and was not disappointed with the attention give. I have found at times couples get more attention than single travelers.
