Depart from London and travel out of the city in your air-conditioned coach toward the majestic Windsor Castle. Home of the British Royal Family for 900 years, and location for the 2018 Royal Wedding, Windsor is the world's largest and oldest occupied castle and widely considered one of England’s finest. Explore the lavishly-decorated State Apartments and St George's Chapel with your guide and hear of the castle’s fascinating history and heritage.

Continue on through the rolling green Wiltshire landscape to Stonehenge, a collection of stones dragged to this lonely plain near Salisbury 5,000 years ago. This ancient stone circle is still a place of strong spiritual significance, and continues to capture the imagination of the many visitors it welcomes each year. Why the stones were placed here and what purpose they served remains a mystery though, so wander around the site at your leisure and decide for yourself why these age-old rocks have found themselves here. Take a look around the visitors’ center and learn the history of this ancient, mysterious site. During your visit enjoy a free interactive map and VOX personal headset that is exclusive to this tour.

Next, hop back in your coach and continue onward to Bath, famous for its elegant Georgian architecture and widely considered one of England’s prettiest cities. Follow your guide on a panoramic tour of Bath and be enchanted by the town's beautiful streets and alleyways, capturing the sites on camera as you go. You'll see Bath Abbey and the much-photographed Pulteney Bridge, modeled on the Ponte Vecchio in Florence. During the tour, you will see the city’s famous Roman Baths — the best preserved Roman spa from the ancient world.

At the end of your time in Bath, travel back to London’s Victoria Coach Station where your day trip concludes.

Windsor Castle
Our first stop is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the British Royal family for more than 900 years and the largest, continuously occupied castle in Europe. Marvel at the splendour of the State Apartments, the grandest apartments in England, where paintings by Van Dyck and Rubens hang from the walls and the ceilings are painted with elaborate, magnificent murals. Step inside St George’s Chapel, where HRH Prince Harry married Ms Meghan Markle and the tombs of prominent previous monarchs are located, including Henry VIII and Charles I. Don’t miss a colourful display of typical British pageantry that takes place every morning at the Changing the Guard ceremony, where the handover of duties between guards to the Queen takes place. If Her Majesty is in Windsor during your visit, you may be lucky enough to see the Royal Standard flying on the flagpole of the Round Tower.

Bath Abbey is an Anglican parish church and former Benedictine monastery in Bath, Somerset, England.[3] Founded in the 7th century, it was reorganised in the 10th century and rebuilt in the 12th and 16th centuries; major restoration work was carried out by Sir George Gilbert Scott in the 1860s. It is one of the largest examples of Perpendicular Gothic architecture in the West Country. The cathedral was consolidated to Wells Cathedral in 1539 after the abbey was dissolved in the Dissolution of the Monasteries, but the name of the diocese has remained unchanged.

Too much for one day
Holly_G
, Nov 2021
Tour packed too much in one day. We prefer more time to enjoy the destination. I recommended doing these landmarks individually or maybe just 2. Guide was knowledgeable and kept us to the strict time schedule. All in all we spent more time on the bus then in the venue.

Rowan was really knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The trip was organized and we stayed on schedule. The drive back to London is about 3 hours so important to keep that in mind but overall, a tour that is worth it.

Trip cut short

We had a medical emergency and our family of four took a cab back to London as soon as we got off the bus at Windsor Castle. We were wondering if there are any provisions in our policy for a full or partial refund for cases like this. We did not get to see any of the sites we set out to see.

The tour guide and the driver was lovey. Time was short and the whole day was a rush, like all these kind of tours. In total, it was a great day

Hello Klara, Thank you for the 5* review! We are happy to see that you have enjoyed the tour with us. While we do wish the tour was more relaxed we like to inform our guests that we often refer to this tour as a ‘taster tour’ as it allows you to see some of the UKs top attractions but we are restricted with time in each venue due to driving hour legislation. We do run a number of other tours which only include one or two venues ,which do allow for more time for exploration. We will pass on the compliments over to the guide and driver. We hope to see you again soon! Best wishes Evan Evans Team

Outstanding Tour
Sherri_S
, Nov 2021
Great tour with a very knowledgeable guide and an outstanding driver! They got us to each location before the rest of the tour bus got there which gave us more time without the crowds. Windsor Castle was beautiful the only downside was you couldn’t take pictures inside the castle but it was brilliant! Stonehenge is a place you need to see at least once. The one place we wish we could have spent more time was at Bath. It was gorgeous! It was the Fall season when we went and the leaves were changing, all I can say is it was jaw dropping beautiful. You will not be sorry that you booked this tour!!!

It was the UK weather which made my experience more memorable. Whenever the coach is on the road, it pours. But as soon as we arrive on the next destination-the sun peeps. Our driver and tour guide (Barry and Mel) are exceptional as well. Thank you!

It brings us much joy to know that Mel and Barry contributed to making this tour a memorable one for you. We hope to welcome you onboard another one of our tours soon. Sending you our best wishes, Evan Evans Team
