What a great historical tour with the most knowledgeable guide
Debbie_P
, Aug 2022
every moment was memorable. Could have spent hours with Michael, our tour guide. This private tour is the way to go. Michael is so very knowledgeable and did not mind questions. Made the tour very interesting. Let us ask as many questions as we wanted (and my husband had lots). Loved it, loved it, loved it. And to finish off with Churchill War rooms was great.

Too much walking
David_D
, Aug 2022
This tour was entirely too much walking and the tour guide, I believe, was somewhat insulting to the group be telling us we didn't "gel" as a group. I think we were mostly made up of introverts so we were just quite. The Churchhill tour was excellent and made this worthwhile. I would recommend dropping the walking part and just doing the Churchill tour.

One of the Best Tours in London

One of the best tours I have ever done. Our guide, Robert, was knowledgeable and passionate about Churchill and history, and the tour was better for it - we were entertained while we learned a lot! The tour ties in Westminster's buildings and their history with Churchill, and then you finish the tour in the museum, where Churchill and his staff actually planned WWII. Absolutely awesome tour - enjoyed it and highly recommend.

Interesting to go back in time and see Churchill war headquarters. My grand son enjoyed to see the guards on the horses. But a lot of walk and I expected to see Westminster which we didn’t.

Our guide Dave was brilliant and very informative. The highlight of the tour was definitely visiting the Churchill War rooms, an amazing experience and worth with doing this tour, not just for people interested in all things war, but everyone should see this historical event!

Waste of Money!

We didn’t do much touring, unless you think walking from the Churchill statue, past 10 Downing Street and to the Churchill War rooms is a tour. Save yourself money and just do the Churchill War Rooms tour on your own.

We were late due to a glitch in transportation into London and the company would not give us a reimbursement, voucher or any help finding the guide to at least give us the tickets we paid for in order to get into the Churchill museum. I don’t recommend this company.

Churchill War Rooms we’re very interesting. Give yourself at least 3 hours. The guide does not go in there with you. Self guided audio tour.

The stories Richard...

The stories Richard shared that we would never have learned about on our own. The stories about Westminster Abbey and Churchill were very interesting.

Richard was the absolute...

Richard was the absolute best tour guide we have ever had! His ability to share little tidbits brought everything about this tour to life.

Incredibly disappointing - skip and buy your own map.

, Jul 2022
This was by far our most disappointing tour of our vacation. We had hoped to get a more informed background on the major sites we woudl see - Westminster Abbey, Parliament, etc. Instead, it was like Vacation - "look kids, Big Ben". It got the point where some people dropped off of the tour, and everyone else was just rolling their eyes. Just really bad. One other thing - it does NOT include a guided tour of the Churchill museum. Its a little buried in the fine print, but they simply bring you there. I was surprised as I've had pretty good luck with Viator tours. This one - just skip.

Dave was an excellent guide - a true and down to earth guy with a brilliant sense of humour and an earthy and real understanding of his nation’s history. Brought it all to life in the best possible way

Worth the price of admission
Christi_B

The underground war rooms were amazing, a labyrinth. The museum itself was incredibly detailed, though a bit difficult to maneuver. This museum might do better to allow fewer guests in per hour, due to the close quarters. The walking tour was informative and fun. Our tour guide did have an issue with the tickets at the war rooms, but she stayed with us and remedied it.
