Half of the journey was spent going across the river and back to pick people up at other stops (whilst going nowhere).

Company overselling tickets so the boat was extremely crowded, despite booking online in advance. Difficult to enjoy the ride.

Whilst the actual journey was entertaining, the start was delayed, which can happen, but when we had to get off the boat and catch the return one back to Westminster, that too was very delayed. We waited for about 25 mins with young children in the heat and no information as to what time the return trip was going to be and no member of staff was present on the pier. I was told by the other groups that run similar trips to go to the office which was located away from the pier. When I got there, they didn’t seem to know much either, and kept saying some should be there, when I explained there wasn’t he said someone just left to go to the pier. When we found him, he couldn’t give us anytime, except to say it was delayed. In the end we took the train back and didn’t get to finish out journey. We spent over £150 for this trip so expected a much better experience.

Bad experience

Although I paid for return trip, I only went one way because the second boat was so late, I had a child with me who was so getting tired standing in the hot sun, waiting for the second boat. No staff to update us. Waste of money. I left it and got tube back. Very annoyed

Viator are an excellent company to book with. CS is excellent over the phone. A seamless boarding and the best commentary I’ve ever experienced on the Thames.

Not what we purchased

I was very careful to book the round trip 1-hour cruise and followed the directions to the correct boarding deck and showed our tickets to the staff. Once boarded and on our way, we found out that it was the cruise to Greenwich and we would need to get off the at St. Katherine’s. Super disappointed.

Enjoyable Bus Tour
Julia_P
, Jun 2022
My two sisters and I booked our Bus Tour in advance online and the process was very easy, especially as we did it from Florida. We loved the tour guide's informative commentary and were thrilled with the length of the Tour and the many places we saw. Would definitely recommend this Night Bus Tour to anyone wanting to see a lot of famous sights

I was hoping for a cruise tour up and down the Thames from Westminster as had booked a ‘round trip’. However we were told to disembark at Tower of London and had to wait over half an hour to get another boat back. Could of got an Uber boat for that.
