Fun and beautiful adventure

I went with my mom and my 10-year old daughter. They were both excited but nervous. Nate and Mario were excellent guides and were really calm and explained things clearly - just what we needed to feel comfortable and focused on the fun and not the fear.
They educated about the landscape and pointed out plenty of beautiful and interesting landmarks and nature along the hikes in and out. Highly recommend!

This was an awesome tour. I was a little nervous at first but the guides instantly made me feel comfortable. There is about a 1 mile hike until the first rappel which was nice. Felt safe the entire time and this was my first time doing this activity. Views are gorgeous. Thanks to Nate and Mario our guides who guides us and kept us safe while rappelling and hiking! You guys rock!

Trip was outstanding. This was our 34 anniversary and first time canyonering for us and our daughter. Landon was a great guide who made it extremely fun and as he put it safe as mini golf. Only downside was the 106 degree weather but the creeks you walk through on the way out helped keep you cool.

Had an AMAZING experience. We had never rappelled before, but Landon (the Legend) made the experience wonderful. He explained the process in detail until we were all comfortable with the processes. The two rappels were incredibly gorgeous and fun. He was very knowledgeable about the area as well and highlighted all the aspects of our gorgeous hike. Would highly recommend Paddle Moab!

This was so much fun! A huge must do, this was one of our favorite things we did on the whole trop! Our guide Nate was very knowledgable, friendly, and funny! He talked us through everything we needed to know.
The description on Viator is a little incomplete, this is what you'll do: they'll drive you out to the trailhead, and you'll take a short hike down to the top of 2 big canyons. You'll rappel down both - dont forget to enjoy the ride on the way down - then hike downhill about 3 miles where they pick you up again!
Gorgeous views, gorgeous hike. Make sure you bring water!

This was such an awesome experience. We had explored much of Moab and we wanted to add an experience like this. It was scary at first but we were comfortable a few feet in and it was so worth doing. Landon was a great guide and made us feel safe and have us everything we needed to know, thank you!
The hike was beautiful too! Be prepared to get a little dirty and get your feet wet.
They canceled trip last minute!

I am not able to upload a photo because at 4:30PM the afternoon before the trip was to happen (the next morning at 8:00AM), I received a voicemail canceling the trip due to no guides. Apparently, there is no policy for back up guides. This trip was confirmed for 2 1/2 months then canceled the evening before the trip. It was one of the reasons I actually took a vacation to Moab. Very frustrating and disappointing. I did get my money refunded, but that did not make up for the lack of the experience I was expecting.

Hey Jean, My name is Joshua and I am the owner of Paddle Moab. I just got back into the office and was informed about your trip. I am so sorry this happened and I completely understand your frustration. We do not take lightly the cancelling of trips. I am not sure what happened with your other experience I can only speak for your Canyon trip. Paddle Moab and Moab in general are going through what I call the ripple effect of COVID. We are just short staffed and good employees are just hard to find. Especially guides that have the skill set to take people rappelling. As the season is winding down we only have two canyon guides at the moment, and with your trip when the guide had an emergency situation it leaves us in a big jam. You were not the only one effected by this and I am bummed to hear this happened to you on your vacation. Like I said we are really sorry for cancelling and if you are ever in Moab we would love to make it up to you.

Nate made this experience so amazing. I was pretty scared & extremely nervous, but he made me feel at ease with lots of explanations and telling me what to expect at al the points. He was so easy to talk to & was full of lots of fun facts. Repelling down morning glory arch was an experience of a lifetime.

Paddle Moab was exceptional. We went canyoneering with three kids who are adventurous hikers, but new to this sort of activity and new to this part of the country. Our guide was patient and eventually the kids got the hang of it. They learned on the first repel and crushed the second one. As a result, the kids have continued to foster their love of the outdoors. The scenery was beautiful. I couldn’t recommend this company more. They were truly fantastic.
