Food and drinks
Start your visit to the 9/11 Memorial Museum with a self-guided tour of the exhibitions and multimedia displays. The museum itself is located below the 9/11 Memorial, the reflecting pools that are the footprints of the Twin Towers that fell due to the devastating terrorist attack in 2001.

With your timed admission, you have guaranteed entry to stay for as long as you want. It is suggested that you take at least two hours to wander the museum. This admission saves you time by giving you direct entry into the center with your mobile device.

The museum also includes a pair of main exhibits: a memorial exhibition called In Memoriam, in honor of the people who lost their lives that day in 2001 as well as the people who were killed during the World Trade Center 1993 bombing. The second exhibition is September 11, 2001, a three-part exhibition that tells the tale of the day and analyzes motives for the attacks. It also shows the aftereffects of the attack and how the event changed the world, both locally and globally.

This museum experience brings out the emotions in the guests who visit. Get ready to hear the stories of loss and sadness, of compassion and recovery, as you explore the space.

A truly moving and powerful experience. My kids have a new appreciation for the loss and effect on our country.

So well run. Staff was amazing. Although a somber memorial, it was presented with compassion for all affected. We will never forget!🇺🇸

Too many people

Way too many people allowed in at the same time. Impossible to read all the information due to crowd size. Pushing and shoving. So disappointed. The quality of the museum is fabulous but we could not enjoy it due to size of crowd.

It was closed for an emergency and we couldn’t rebook it. Viator was no help other than telling us they would refund the money. It was the one thing we wanted to see very very dissappointed

Hoping for a refund or voucher?

We enjoyed the start of the museum experience but one hour in everybody was evacuated from the building. Hoping that I will get refunded for my tickets so that we can visit and get the full experience of the 911 Memorial.

Experience cut short!

Unfortunately, after waiting 40 minutes on line and then after touring the museum for only 30 minutes, we had to evacuate due to them “conducting an investigation.”

Good museum but disappointing experience

Most memorable experience was all visitors being ushered up to the first floor and in our case out of the building because of unknown alarm. We did not get a chance to view the whole exhibit.

We didn’t go inside the line was unbelievably long over an hour with reservations at 11am, so disappointed. To wait that long with reservations is a huge turn off.

Heart-Wrenching but Disappointed

, Dec 2021
The museum is a great experience, and a very heart-wrenching remembrance of what our country went thru. I’ve now been twice to the museum. My 1st trip was April of 2021, during the early days of Covid, and the museum wasn’t packed, it was very intimate and I got to really connect with the whole experience. My 2nd visit was December of 2021, and I was really disappointed by the large crowds that the museum staff was allowing in ….. the place was far too crowded to get the intimate, heart-wrenching experience. This latest visit saddened me and my recommendation to others.
