The tour will end at Battery Park where the guide will show you how to board the ferries to the Statue of Liberty for your self guided visit.

Meet your guide in the Financial District in Lower Manhattan for this Viator Exclusive tour. Walk down Wall Street, NYC’s famous financial district, and learn about the history of the street, from the early days of 'New Amsterdam,' when the city was a Dutch colony.

Continue to the nearby 9/11 memorial, the site of the tragic terrorist attacks that took place on September 11, 2001. Stand at the two enormous reflecting pools, the footprints of the two towers, and read the names of the victims that are etched around the pools.

Afterwards, head to the lower tip of Manhattan to catch the ferry to Liberty Island and bypass the ticket lines with reserve line access. On the short cruise, enjoy views of the Manhattan skyline and hear about the history of Lady Liberty from your guide.

On the island, explore with your own audio guide, available in nine different languages, with views of lower Manhattan, Ellis Island, and Staten Island.

Your ticket also includes access to the Liberty Island Museum, where you can learn about the difficulties and triumphs that France and the US overcame to build this universal symbol of liberty and democracy.

At the end of the tour, opt to stay on the island or, once on the ferry, choose to hop off at Ellis Island, the gateway for 12 million immigrants.

This tour is highly recommended for first time travellers to new York. The tour involves visits to the wall street precinct, 9//11 memorial and surroundings and a ticket to the statue of liberty. Andrea was a great tour guide and she definitely knows her history of NYC. I would recommend that the tour guides tell people that a mask is required to go through security before getting on the ferry boat. We had to get out of line and go buy masks to literally walk through security. Otherwise the tour was great.

Experience seeing her was awesome! However, be prepared for long lines and also, make sure you take a mask to wear thru security, IF you do not have one then they will take you out of line to go by one. IT'S ONLY TO GET THRU SECURITY.

I thought this was a very informative tour. Our guide took us to all the historic landmarks in south Manhattan. The only criticism I have is that our guide talked way too much, going on tangents with stories. I really just wanted to see the historic sites and have an interaction with them, rather than a long history lesson in the cold.
