Disappointed

Good but not great

It was a good break from the hotel beach/pool. Kids were excited for activities such as banana boat and snorkeling. We waited about an hr for the banana boat one time; it would have been better if they had 2 boats to move the lines faster. It was also extremely disappointing the slides were closed. Had we known that, we would not have gone to de palm.

We were a family of 9 traveling ranging from age 12-60. The banana boat rides were to rough for everyone except our two youngest kids.
We booked for the flamingo experience only to find out they were behind two different gates, so kind of hard to get a good picture. I could of gotten a better picture at the zoo.
Food was mediocre. But staff was extremely pleasant.

An absolute must do if you come to Aruba. Transportation was very comfortable, driver was very friendly.
De Palma Island is beautiful, very relaxing , water was warm ( just make sure to bring water shoes, beach floor is rocky). Snorkeling was great ( the equipment is provided to you and you can be out there as long as you like). There is a buffet table and a grilling area w/ hamburgers, fries and chicken nuggets and of course unlimited drinks 😊.
I would definitely return 😊😊😊

This little private island is cute. It was small had a couple of things to do though for the 5hrs that you are there. They have unlimited drinks for both kids and adults, food was good the flamingo area was small but beautiful. The waterslides were nice. I just wish they had atleast 2more activities for the price they are charging you. Overall nice

Our banana boat tipped over in the middle of the ocean and we all fell in. The two gentleman on the “speedboat” took entirely too long to pull up on side of the banana boat to get us all to safety. I’m not sure what the delay was if they were on a speedboat and they were literally watching as we feel off. You guys should do a little more than just providing a life jacket on throwing people on a boat. You should also go over what to do in case the boat tip over. I mean really go over the process on what to expect and ways to help them help us. I mean there was literally no direction.
Fun trip to De Palm Island

The trip to the island was very enjoyable because the bus driver told entertaining and funny stories about Aruba. Check-in to go to the island was easy and before you knew it, we were on the island sitting on the beach enjoying refreshing cocktails, while the other two people in our party headed to the beach. The food was tasty, and the wide variety ensured all had something they liked. I really enjoyed the chilled fruit. The flamingos were awesome! This island trip did not disappoint, and I recommend this trip to anyone who will be visiting Aruba because it has something for everyone.

We perform checks on reviews
You can only submit a review or rating of an experience to Viator if you were the person who made the booking through Viator. Before publication, each review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information for each of the following criteria: who, what, how, and when. If the system detects something that contradicts our publication criteria, the review is not published. When the system detects a problem with a review, it may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site. In some cases, we will also send you an email asking you to validate your review before it is published. All you need to do is click on the link provided in the email. After publication, our team checks each review reported to it as not meeting our publication criteria. Tripadvisor reviews that appear on the Viator site are subject to the same checks and moderation processes as set out above. It is not necessary to have booked an experience through Viator (or Tripadvisor) to submit a review of an experience to the Tripadvisor site.

Sorting, ranking, and search results
Viator wants to make your searches as relevant as possible. That’s why we offer many ways to help you find the right experiences for you.
On some pages, you can select how to sort the results we display and also use filter options to see only those search results that meet your chosen preferences. You’ll see explanations of what those sort options mean when you select them.
You’ll see some experiences with a “Promoted” badge, which means that the operators of those experiences have agreed to pay Viator more to have their experience highlighted.
If you see an Experience Award Winner label, the award is based on average review ratings, share of bookings with a review, and number of bookings through Viator over a 12-month period.
The importance of any one factor over any other in a sort order varies, and the balance is constantly being reviewed and adjusted. We’re always updating our systems and testing new ways to refine and improve your results to make them as relevant as possible to meet your needs.
