This tour will bring to life Paris's mysterious and often horrific past – its ghosts, legends and historic personalities. You’ll see both rarely visited and well-known sights in a whole new way!

Vic told the stories with enthusiasm. Her knowledge of history is excellent and she brought it all to life. I really enjoyed the tour. Its quite a long walk but Vic adjusted the pace to suit and gave good recommendations

Waste of time and money

This tour was not filled with legends, ghost stories, or history. The guide was rambling in a nonsensical manner that was very hard to follow. We actually left half way through. A quick Google search found better stories than we heard on this tour.

A great way to spend our last night in Paris. The stories were charismatically told by Victoire and research into historic times extensive and informative. Most enjoyable!

It was an okay tour, some of the things the tour guide was saying were untrue. I wouldn’t do this again.

OK Tour
Lee_F
, Jun 2022
Hamish was an ok tour guide. No real concern making sure the group was all there when he started talking. Also some of the locations chosen to talk made hearing very difficult with all of the surrounding noise. His knowledge was good and we did learn some new historical information.

Sanse did a phenomenal job. Loved his humor, his knowledge, and his clear passion for the topic. I highly recommend this excursion before going on a tour of the Louvre. I loved that I had some additional background knowledge of things discussed on my Louvre tour today.

The very first story showed promise. Then it went downhill. It was more of a history lesson. Not at all what I expected.

Great tour, showing the dark side of the Parisian history (even more atmospheric on a chilly autumn evening). Vick is a great guide, has a way of grabbing your attention with enthusiastic story telling. Would definitely recommend!

Not what we expected
Amy_S
, Oct 2021
Our guide was fantastic. Super sweet, knowledgeable and had lots of energy. The tour is at night, obviously. It’s more of a history lessons and less of ghosts and goblins. A majority of the “stops” are on extremely busy streets which makes them speaker extremely hard to hear. Most stops are at common buildings but it is cool to hear the history behind them. Also with the except of the first stop along the way this would be accessible for strollers or wheelchairs

Great idea but need a guide with more volume
Warner_P
, Oct 2021
Start was a little chaotic (Pont Neuf was blocked for fireworks, nobody let us know). The idea is fun, but 9pm a little late to start with kids, and guide was speaking too softly to hear, so we bailed after 15m.
