Yes, Diane, we agree THE Witch City is popular on Halloween! Imagine how much harder and more disappointing it would have been to follow and not hear a $40 group tour-guide? The crowds and popularity of Salem around Halloween (especially ON Halloween) cause everything to sell out but we offer an activity for anyone and everyone to enjoy on their own schedule and at their own pace, for a fraction of the price. If you are already in town we suggest connecting to a restaurant or store WiFi. Data availability in Salem cannot support the influx of people, especially ON Halloween. Salem is extremely popular this time of year, which is why the booking instructions suggest downloading before you get to town. If people have trouble onsite, we invite them to contact us ANYTIME! Good option in lieu of a guided tour, let you go at your own pace. Very easy instructions, great that it waited for you to reach next destination before continuing. Would have liked a bit more history mixed in with the ghost story.

Salem has very weak signal during October weekends and we suggested in all our emails / booking info, to download the app and tour before hand :(. If you do try to download in Salem on a Saturday please use Wi-Fi. It's unlikely your data plan has signal in Salem. But good news, you can get Wifi at local shops in Salem!
