After the San Francisco city tour, you will be dropped off at the Alcatraz terminal where you can enjoy the rest of your day.

Your tour begins in the morning at Fisherman's Wharf, where you meet your guide for a drive around San Francisco. Over the course of the day, you get a look at the city's diverse neighborhoods and geography, stopping at several locations where you can hop off the bus to take photos and look around a bit.

Head to the quaint town of Sausalito for lunch (own expense).

After lunch enjoy a walk through the massive redwood trees in Muir Woods.

Back in the city, board a ferry from Pier 33 for the ride across the bay to Alcatraz Island, home to the former prison of the same name. Enjoy the prison's fascinating audio tour as you explore the cellblock, and then return to Pier 33 on the ferry to end your day tour.

We had a great day with Dylans tours. Sully was our driver/guide and he was so informative and he took great pictures for us to Thanks so much Sully. The drive around the city was great through all the different neighbouhoods. Loved Muir woods the air was so fresh in there. We got to see Mrs Doubtfires house on Steiner Street to loved that! We stopped in Sosolito which is a lovely town we enjoyed fish and chips and a home made icecream yummy! Then it was onto Alcatraz which was an experience. Thankyou Dylans tours for a great day :-)

The tour was brought to life by Captain Roger (our guide). He is a proud and knowledgeable San Franciscan and wanted to share his love of the city with his guests. We learnt facts and stories you just wouldn’t get by not taking a tour. The only reason we gave 4/5 is we ran out of time to cover some downtown sights before the Alcatraz ferry. Fully recommend.

From the start Sully was superb. A rich history as we went around and great to get a tour guide who clearly loves his job and the city! Some great stops along this tour and if your lucky enough to get Sully you will get a great load of history along the way. He plays some great music too!

Finding the starting location was a bit confusing and saw no real indication that we were at the correct starting point. That's the only thing not positive that I have to say. The real story begins with Patrick, he was personable and very likable and seemed to sincerely enjoy his job. He was Informative but in more of a conversation. Giving us details in a humorous and knowledgeable way. We were lucky to have a clear and beautiful day to get a wonderful view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Wish all tour guides were more like him, He was truly awesome!!!! It was hands down the best tour of our entire vacation which included a 7 day cruise. Definitely a great value.

Sully was an amazing guide! He told us about the history of San Francisco and we visited all of the neighborhoods. He will take pictures for you and makes sure to get great shots. Also, you will listen to his San Fransisco play list for the different places that you visit.
